Terms of Use

Last updated: 29 June 2026

Mohua Print is a service operated by Neonpale Limited (NZ Company No. 9431163, NZBN 9429053689030), PO Box 215, Tākaka 7142, Golden Bay (Mōhua), Aotearoa New Zealand. GST 148-790-191. Contact: christoph@mohuaprint.nz.

Mohua Print is a local photo-printing service operated by Neonpale Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) in Golden Bay (Mōhua), New Zealand. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. Your order

You upload a photo and choose a size, paper, finishing and delivery option. We print it on professional paper with pigment inks, and you either collect it locally in Golden Bay or we post it to you within New Zealand.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order.

3. Your photo and your rights

You confirm that you own the photo you upload, or that you have permission from the person who owns the rights, and that printing it does not infringe anyone’s copyright, moral rights, privacy or other rights. You keep all rights in your photo. You give us a limited licence to store, process and print your photo only as needed to fulfil your order, and for no other purpose.

4. Content we will not print

You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or objectionable under New Zealand law. We review every image before it is printed, and we may refuse, cancel and refund any order at our discretion. Where we come across content that appears to be illegal, we will report it to the relevant New Zealand authorities as required by law, and we will not return or destroy it except as those authorities direct.

5. Print quality and what to expect

The quality of your print depends on the file you provide. If a photo’s resolution is too low for the size you choose, we will tell you before printing and suggest a size that will look sharp. Printed colours can differ slightly from what you see on a screen, because screens are backlit and paper is not; this is normal and is not a fault. A light tidy-up (brightness, colour, and straightening a crooked horizon) is included by default. You can choose Print as supplied to have your file printed exactly as uploaded. You set any crop yourself when placing the image. Larger edits (for example removing an object) are quoted and agreed with you before printing.

6. Prices, GST and payment

Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Neonpale Limited is GST-registered (GST 148-790-191), and your receipt is a GST receipt (taxable supply information). Payment is taken securely at checkout through Stripe; we do not see or store your card details. A minimum order value applies and is shown at checkout. Any agreed editing surcharge is arranged and paid separately before printing.

7. Delivery

You can collect your order in Golden Bay, or we post it to you within New Zealand for a tracked fee calculated by destination, including a small rural surcharge, shown at checkout. We print in batches, so please allow one to two days. Risk in the prints passes to you when you collect them or when we hand them to the courier.

8. Cancellations, returns and faults

Prints are made to order from your photo, so we are not able to accept change-of-mind returns once printing has started. If a print arrives faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, contact us and we will reprint it or refund you. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986, which apply to everything we sell and cannot be excluded.

9. Our responsibility to you

We take care to get your prints right. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. This does not limit or exclude your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986, or our liability for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Your privacy

We store and handle your photo and your details only to fulfil your order, and we delete your photo automatically 30 days after your order is completed. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the version shown at the time you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction. Questions about your order or these terms: christoph@mohuaprint.nz.
